UC San Diego, Geisel Library
Throwback to my first grad photoshoot! This is how it all started. Graduation is a monumental occasion that is a special moment for many students. It's filled with tons of emotions and memories that students have gathered over the years. Like many of you, it was my first professional photoshoot but I was behind the camera. I was planning for hours leading up to the day of the session, trying to remember different poses and tips to make the photoshoot run smoothly. Then came the day of the shoot. Everyone's worried about how the photos will turn out. Is my makeup okay? Does my fit look good? What if the weather isn't good? The wind is blowing and my hair is all over the place. Don't worry, they'll turn out great! Just have fun! After getting the jitters out at the beginning of the session, poses came flowing in, smiles were more natural, we were just having fun! We bounced to different locations at Geisel Library and experimented with different angles and backgrounds. Luckily there was not many people around because it was during summer session and most students have already left for summer break. We were super happy about the photos we had already took and tried looking around for additional inspiration. As the sun set and light was fading, we ended the session and said our goodbyes. We were super excited to see how the photos would turn out!
